Lesson fees are quoted on a per term basis and are due by the date identified on the invoice.  Lesson fees are subject to review.

Signing up for lessons secures the student a time slot for the entire term and as such you are required to pay for that slot.

Parents/guardians and students are responsible for lesson attendance.

Any lesson missed by the Student will not be refundable.  Due to timetabling complexities the teacher is not obligated to offer catch-up lessons.

If the Teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson (eg. Due to sickness) that fee will be carried forward and credited to the next term

Extra lessons may be scheduled during holiday periods or at any other time by mutual agreement.

Lesson times will be set at the start of each term.

A decision to discontinue lessons may be taken at any time by the Student/Parent/Guardian however any remaining lessons for that term shall not be refunded.

If a teacher cannot continue to offer lessons a minimum of 2 weeks notice will be given and any outstanding fees refunded. 

Teachers also reserve the right to discontinue any student for reasons including but not limited to inappropriate behaviour, non-payment of fees and sporadic attendance.

The Student/Parent/Guardian agrees to pay for any music books, CD’s, required by the course and provided by the Teacher.

The Student/Parent/Guardian agrees to provide their own guitar. Teachers will happily give advice on the type of guitar and where to buy..

The Student/Parent/Guardian undertakes not to make photocopies of any music.

The Teacher will not expect the student to participate in any examination, festival, etc. without the agreement of the Student/Parent/Guardian. Any entry fees will be paid by the Student/Parent/Guardian.

The Student/Parent/Guardian is responsible for the insurance of the Student's instrument.

In the interests of the Student's well-being whilst in the Teacher's care, the Teacher must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the Student.

The Teacher is not responsible for students outside of the agreed lesson time.
